Addison, my friend, and I decided we wanted to save endangered animals about 4 years ago in third grade and we had sent a letter to the President, it took about 8 months to hear back. When we were on a month long vacation we put our mail on hold for the month the first day we left. So, we could look at the mail online, but we couldn't look inside the mail. And at this point, I thought he was never going to write back, so I kind of just moved on. So the first day that we were on vactation, my mom was looking at the mail and she told me to come over and... There was an envelope addressed to Addison and I from the White House! The President actually wrote back! The bad news is, we had to wait a whole month to open and see the letter. Once we finally got back from our month long vacation to visit family, I had totally forgot about it. Then, I sent a video to a group chat with some of my friends, including Addison, a video of me opening and reading it!
It was so much fun!
